CRCS Works With Sprinkler Safety Unit

 The Ontario Municipal Fire Prevention Officers Association’s (OMFPOA) annual convention was this past spring in Ajax. This four day convention included various events throughout the region, with hundreds of fire prevention officers from all over Ontario attending.

One of the main events was a burn cell residential sprinkler demonstration. This demonstration illustrated the effectiveness of sprinklers in a residential setting.  Sprinkler systems extinguish fires incredibly fast, and hopefully prevent fatalities. CRCS furnished the burn cell, which had over 100 fire prevention officers on hand.

CRCS is looking forward to the 2013 OMFPOA Convention as it will be back in Durham Region, with Oshawa hosting the events.
